BlueCamroo Release Notes 2.6.2

By: BlueCamroo Team 4/27/2011 2:49 PM

Today’s BlueCamroo release is our final April mini-release. This release kicks-off some integration issues we'll be tackling in the coming months. First off is integrating BlueCamroo's multi-function calendar with Google Calendar and Outlook (via Exchange Server). We've also modified Social Network Scout's feed display selection slightly. And we've added some more help for first time users.

Today’s BlueCamroo release is the second of our mini-releases for April that focus on ease of adoption issues. In this release, we're making it easier to administer your account on the BlueCamroo intranet site. As well, we're making it easier to work with your templates. We've added a basic setup for your general email template and a new template place holder so you can upload your company logo only once and reuse it.

More Leads with BlueCamroo and LinkedIn Answers

By: Karl Mamer 4/19/2011 11:51 AM

LinkedIn Answers provides multiple ways for an entrepreneur to market his/her services. Frequently a LinkedIn question might be an overt call for a product recommendation. Sometimes the user is a bit more vague. The user does not want a direct pitch. But merely showing up in the comments with relevant, on-topic knowledge can help you turn up a sales lead. The problem with LinkedIn Answers is finding topics you can comment on effectively can be time consuming. The system has a search engine but it can require some effort to daily search the section for questions that match various key words. Fortunately LinkedIn Answers now has a Twitter account that shoots out new topics as a tweet. Twitter and the power of BlueCamroo's Social Network Scout come to the rescue!

Setting up a CRM doesn't have to be a lot of knife work

Our first release for April has introduced two new wizards to help first time users and first time Administrators provide essential information BlueCamroo needs. If you're already a BlueCamroo user and admin, you won't actually see either of these wizards. If you're not currently a user (hey, thanks for stopping by and reading this blog post), you'll see both of these the first time you take BlueCamroo for your free, no-risk 31-day trial! (Boss says I got to bump up the SEO factor on these blog posts…)

These wizards will make it easier for users and system administrators to get their accounts up and running.

Maybe we can call it Social Network Eagle Scout?

By: Karl Mamer 4/4/2011 12:57 PM

Our March release made a large number of improvements including a change to the way Social Network Scout handles adding leads, contacts, and accounts. Previously if you hovered over a Social Network Scout a pop-up dialog allowed you to react to a feed post (e.g., add the user as a lead, create a case, etc.). The system then took you to the details page. The assumption was one would be adding items in a serial fashion. Social Network Scout's search functionality can be so good, it can, at time, produce an embarrassment of leads.
