Sometimes we're conditioned to think companies ignore suggestions. When companies do respond it's both delightful and maybe a little disarming. I've been struggling with the Microsoft Surface. It was a Christmas gift. (Thank you, guilt-ridden divorced dads of the world!) I tilted between returning it and keeping it. I've largely concluded it's about finding new ways to do things I'm comfortable doing in Android. At some point I used the feedback link on an app and the developer got back to me within hours. I didn't expect that. If our suggestions are actually being read, we generally just assume they're kind of collected and synthesized in a kind of zen like way and then, maybe, eventually, we'll see something not entirely resembling our most cherished feature request.

Extra Data Objects emerged from a discussion with a user. They liked the Extra Fields concept (where you can add extra fields to details page) but they wanted the ability to collect competitor analysis data and associate it with each lead. They were using a spread sheet to fill in cells with largely text data. And they could have used the attachments option. However, they wanted the ability to search the data and build reports from the data.

Our first release for April has introduced two new wizards to help first time users and first time Administrators provide essential information BlueCamroo needs. If you're already a BlueCamroo user and admin, you won't actually see either of these wizards. If you're not currently a user (hey, thanks for stopping by and reading this blog post), you'll see both of these the first time you take BlueCamroo for your free, no-risk 31-day trial! (Boss says I got to bump up the SEO factor on these blog posts…)

Most online searches we do are usually one-off. Even if we have to re-run the search at a later time, rarely do we waste time trying to figure out how to fine tune the search. If you're searching for web sites in, say, Google, you're reasonably sure sites don't change a lot. You'll quickly find that page you found last time. But what if you're doing a regular, repeating search on a source that radically changes minute to minute or your tolerate for a false positive is zero or very low?

Social Networking sites like Twitter and LinkedIn are increasingly being used by people to make purchase decisions, request product help, and sway opinion. Social Networking can be a great source of new leads, business intelligence, and understanding how customers are advocating for - or against - your products.

Setup's Workflow Rules (found under the Automation submenu) are a great way to ensure BlueCamroo automatically responds to any number of conditions.
The "You've got to spend money, to make money" mantra is often used for any business; big and small. And it's true...
It shouldn't take years to add feature requests from customers. That's why when we were asked to add favicons, login page customizations and themes; we added them in just 6 days.
Our team hit the pavement rather hard again since we last released our huge tasking and messaging release in April and have just finished delivering the next planned enhancements.
There are always things that come up throughout the course of our work days that may not need the full capabilities of tasking, but are just things that we need to do.
Imagine all of the day-to-day things that happen within a business where people may not even know that they have happened or of all the parts that have gone on to get this “thing” where it is today. Starting to think of a lot, aren’t you? How do you solve the problem of missing bits of information? Why through logging of course!
Messaging has been an extremely important communication tool throughout history. Pigeons have been used to carry notes from one person to another and even bottles have been used by stranded ships as an S.O.S to be saved.
