NEWS: Adobe Announces the End of Business Catalyst

Adobe has announced the end of development for Business Catalyst as of March 26th, 2018, and that by March 26, 2020 any data still on Business Catalyst will be deleted and all website will become unavailable for the public. New sites will no longer be available for purchase starting June 18th, 2018.

Business Catalyst was originally released in 2004 by Bardia Housman and Adam Broadway, and 5 years later was purchased by Adobe. The platform offered features such as:

• Email marketing
• Integrated CRM database
• Reporting & analytics

With this announcement Adobe has forced its users to make some tough decisions in the next few months. For those Business Catalyst users who are now scrambling to find a new place for their websites Adobe will allow the download of their website to their computer.
