December wraps up the year with unwrapping the BlueCamroo API. The BlueCamroo API is a way for your own programs to talk to BlueCamroo. It provides simple XML or JSON methods for getting data in and out of BlueCamroo.

The August BlueCamroo update concentrates on bringing greater control and oversight when BlueCamroo is being used by multiple users. The most noticeable change is the Snapshot page, which can be the default landing page when you open any record (a lead, account, etc.). Additionally, we've added a new option to Social Network Scout called Mentions. The Channel Search bar is now accessible directly as buttons with pop-up menus.

Extra Data Objects emerged from a discussion with a user. They liked the Extra Fields concept (where you can add extra fields to details page) but they wanted the ability to collect competitor analysis data and associate it with each lead. They were using a spread sheet to fill in cells with largely text data. And they could have used the attachments option. However, they wanted the ability to search the data and build reports from the data.

Our first release for April has introduced two new wizards to help first time users and first time Administrators provide essential information BlueCamroo needs. If you're already a BlueCamroo user and admin, you won't actually see either of these wizards. Most online searches we do are usually one-off. Even if we have to re-run the search at a later time, rarely do we waste time trying to figure out how to fine tune the search.
